About the Seminar
Join us for an overview of S.P.I.R.E., an Orton-Gillingham based reading intervention program designed for your struggling readers, students with dyslexia, and nonreaders. SPIRE builds reading success through direct, explicit, and systematic instruction in phonological awareness, phonics, spelling, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.

Trainer: Julie Ross
Julie Ross is a certified Special Education teacher in the areas of Learning Disabilities, Behavioral Disorders, and Educable Mental Handicaps. Julie has over 25 years of teaching experience with students at all education levels, K-12; in both private and public school settings. Julie is currently the Lead S.P.I.R.E. Consultant/Trainer working with teachers in districts across the U.S. as they learn and implement the S.P.I.R.E. Reading Program.
